A Word from the Player
My name is Lilliana Robles and I am a future graduate of the class of 2017. Collegiate softball has always been a dream of mine and I plan to make it a reality. I continuously strive for academic achievements as I've been taught that a smart student is a smart athlete. My passion for this sport has grown immensely since I first picked up a ball at the age of 6. My dedication and skill continues to develop everyday. There is rarely a day that goes by without my hands touching a ball or my feet stepping on the field. It is no longer a sport to me but a lifestyle that drives me to be a better athlete daily. Ive always known I wanted to be a collegiate pitcher. I would watch college softball games on the television and admire the pitchers effort and athleticism. All the while, telling myself I'm going to be in that circle when I'm older. This sport has taught me more than I can truly explain and has made me who I am today. The most valuable lesson softball has taught me is that if I want to succeed in life I must work hard, stay focused, and stay dedicated.
